manufacturing of Skube stool updates...




5mm holes drilled surrounding each piece of plywood and counter sunk allowing a tighter grip for the cable ties. I also made a jig to allow quality control, ensuring all holes are symmetrical to each piece. 




I then used an 18mm router bit on the over head router, to cut each slot on the lid of each 'Skube'. This was also done using a jig to ensure accuracy and allowed each one to be identical on every product. 

The batch production of the 'Skubes' will be exhibited within Sunny Bank Mill (www.sunnybankmills.co.uk) gallery at the end of February 2014 at the 'Ones to Watch' exhibition.
